Bournemouth play hosts to West Brom at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League, as both teams look to finish the campaign in a strong manner. Read on and get our football experts opinion on the game and what he predicts the match to end up as. He will also give some recommended betting tips for you to back and at the best prices available.

Bournemouth’s recent poor run of form continued at Everton last time out, as the Cherries suffered a 2-1 on Merseyside. The Toffees took the lead through midfielder Tom Cleverley, only for the Cherries to reply almost immediately through a deflected strike from Danny Pugh.

However, the side from Merseyside sealed all three points with a little over 15 minutes remaining, as Leighton Baines struck the winner.

The Cherries may be in poor form, but the side from Dorset are comfortable in 14th place in the Premier League, nine points clear of the relegation zone.

West Brom’s form has also been poor of late and last time out the Baggies suffered a 3-0 home loss against high-flying West Ham. Midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate opened the scoring for the Irons, before fellow midfielder Mark Noble struck a brace to give the visitors a comprehensive victory.

West Brom are 13th in the Premier League and only above the Cherries on goal difference, so safety is virtually assured for another campaign.

Facts And Figures

These two teams have only ever met once in the Premier League, with that meeting coming earlier this season in the reverse fixture that the Cherries won 2-1.

In fact these two teams have met just 16 times in all competitions, with West Brom winning seven times, Bournemouth recording six wins and three games finishing in draws.

In nine meetings at Dean Court in all competitions, Bournemouth have recorded five wins, West Brom have won three times and one game has finished in a draw.

West Brom have failed to win any of their last seven Premier League games, suffering five defeats in the process. The Baggies have only won one of their last 13 games away from home in the Premier League.

Bournemouth have lost five out of their last six matches in the Premier League. The Cherries have also suffered six defeats in their last nine home Premier League outings.

Team Selection And News

The home side are still without record signing Tyrone Mings through injury, while full-back Adam Smith and winger Max Gradel are both doubts for the clash. Striker Benik Afobe may be recalled to the starting line-up in attack in place of Josh King.

For the visitors midfielders Chris Brunt and James Morrison are once again expected to miss out, while on-loan Tottenham midfielder Alex Pritchard is also a doubt. Forward Saido Berahino will be hoping for a recall to the starting line-up.

Possible Bournemouth Team Selection

Boruc, Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels, Ritchie, Arter, Surman, Pugh, Wilson, Afobe

Possible West Brom Team Selection

Foster, Dawson, McAuley, Olsson, Evans, Fletcher, Jacob, Leko, Berahino, McClean, Rondon

Match Prediction

Both of these two teams head into this clash in poor form and this clash is quite difficult to judge. Bournemouth have a poor home record, while the Baggies are also poor on their travels. For me this game has end-of-season draw written all over it.
