Everton host Swansea at Goodison Park on Sunday in the Premier League’s early kick-off, as the home side look to end a run of four top-flight home games without a win.
Everton drew 3-3 with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out, after being denied by a controversial equaliser by Chelsea captain John Terry, who replays later confirmed was offside. The Toffees had established a two-goal lead through an own goal from Terry and a superb strike from Kevin Mirallas.
However, goals from Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas drew the home side level. Argentinian substitute Ramiro Funes Mori looked to have scored the winner in stoppage-time, before Terry rescued a point for the reigning Premier League champions.
Everton fans will be pleased with their teams attacking play, but disappointed that their team drop two points so late on in the game. Roberto Martinez’s side are 11th in the Premier League table.
Swansea recorded a vital 1-0 victory over Watford on Monday night, as captain Ashley Williams scored the only goal of the game. The victory moved Welsh side above Newcastle and out of the bottom three.
The Swans have brought in veteran Italian boss Francesco Guidolin to help interim boss Alan Curtis manage the first team.

Recommended Betting Tip

Team Selection & News

The home side’s injury list has cleared somewhat in recent weeks. The only players who have definitely been ruled out of this clash are full-backs Tyias Browning and Tony Hibbert.
Central midfielder James McCarthy and full-back Seamus Coleman are both back in training after injuries and could return to the squad. Costa Rican full-back Bryan Oviedo was stretchered off last time out, but is expected to recover in time to feature.
Winger Gerard Deulofeu could return to the starting line-up in place of Aaron Lennon. John Stones is likely to play at right-back in the possible absence of Coleman.
Swansea has a clean bill of health and could line-up unchanged from last time out. However, new head coach Francesco Guidolin is taking charge the team for the first time, so may make changes from the line-up picked by Alan Curtis last time out.

Possible Everton team line-up: Howard, Stones, Jagielka, Funes Mori, Baines, Barry, Besic, Mirallas, Barkley, Deulofeu, Lukaku

Possible Swansea team line-up: Fabianski, Naughton, Fernandez, Williams, Taylor, Cork, Britton, Ki, Sigurdsson, Routledge, Ayew

Everton v Swansea Match Prediction

Everton have been unpredictable this season, at times brilliant going forward, but also leaky in defence, as their draw at Chelsea last time illustrated perfectly. However, I do believe that they will have enough attacking quality to win this game.
