Kempton Racing Tips Tuesday 19th April 2016

by 18th April 2016

A very frustrating day today. Very First Time went off an utterly ridiculous price and duly ran a stinker. Rocco’s looks like one to swerve now and is probably at his best fresh and Kid Valentine lead all the way last time out and today was dropped in as the field gave the winner far too many lengths at the start.

Today’s racing is, for a Tuesday, fairly cracking. During my analysis yesterday afternoon I had marked up 10 horses worthy of backing today and to narrow down to 3 was not easy.

I decided to stick to Kempton and all three racing tips run here. Also over the jumps today we have Ludlow in the afternoon and Sedgefield’s evening card.

Racing Tip One

15.00 Kempton – 2m 4f 110y class 4 Sika Roofing Rapid Challenge Novices’ Handicap Chase (5yo plus) (13 runners)

The Charlie Mann stable has shown a decent return to form recently so we will give a chance to Gowanauthat in a competitive renewal.

Racing Tip Two

16.00 Kempton – 3m class 3 Recticel Insulation Perfect Finish Handicap Chase (5yo plus) (14 runners)

Another large field chase but I think with a 7lb claimer on Harry’s Farewell is worth a financial interest.

Recommended Betting Tip

Back Harry’s Farewell each way in the 16.00 Kempton – Best odds of 8/1 with Ladbrokes

Racing Tip Three

16.30 Kempton – 2m 5f class 3 Protan, Ahead Of The Rest Handicap Hurdle (4yo plus) (16 runners)

The Nicholls stable run at the championship that looked gone after Aintree has been stirring stuff and I think Chartbreaker on handicap debut can add another £5k or so to the lead.

Recommended Betting Tip

Back Chartbreaker in the 16.30 Kempton – Best odds of 5/1 with Ladbrokes
