Leicester host Tottenham at the King Power Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League looking to continue their good run of form.
The Foxes have started the campaign with two wins out of two games in the top-flight. Last time out the side from the Midlands gained a very creditable 2-1 win at West Ham, through goals from Shinji Okazaki and Riyad Mahrez.
The predicted downfall of the Foxes under ‘Tinkerman’ Claudio Ranieri has not happened and in fact they have thrived under the former-Chelsea boss. A third win of the season would represent a great start to the campaign for the Midlanders.
Tottenham have taken just one point from opening two games. Last time out Mauricio Pochettino’s team blow a two goal lead late on against Stoke at White Hart Lane. The Argentinian will have been disappointed with the points dropped from that encounter.
The trip to the Midlands will be a tricky one for Spurs. However, Spurs have won on two of their last three visits to the King Power Stadium.

Facts And Figures

Leicester have had slightly the better head-to-head record in Premier League meetings, as the Foxes have won eight of the 18 meetings played, compared to Tottenham’s seven and three games have finished in draws.
The side from the Midlands also have the edge in the head-to-head on home soil, having won five of the Premier League games played, with Tottenham claiming three wins and there being one draw.
Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri has faced Tottenham nine times as a manager and is unbeaten, winning seven and drawing the other two.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino has faced the Foxes on three occasions and came out on top twice, once with Spurs and once with former-club Southampton.

Team News

The Foxes have very few injury concerns. Midfielder Matty James is a long-term injury casualty and will once again miss out. Back-up ‘keeper Mark Schwarzer is also a doubt for the fixture. If he does not make the game then youngster Jonathan Maddison will take his place on the bench.
Leicester boss Ranieri is likely to name an unchanged starting line-up after consecutive wins in the Premier League.
Tottenham have no injury worries and could give a debut to new signing striker Clinton N’Jie who joined from Lyon to add firepower and back-up to Harry Kane. However the Cameroon international is likely to start on the bench in this clash.
Danny Rose is fit again and could replace Ben Davies at left-back, but apart from that Spurs could be unchanged from the starting line-up against Stoke last time out.

Possible Leicester City line-up: Schmeichel, De Laet, Huth, Morgan, Schlupp, Mahrez, King, Drinkwater, Albrighton, Vardy, Okazaki

Possible Tottenham line-up: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Mason, Chadli, Eriksen, Dembele, Kane

Prediction

Leicester have started the new campaign with a bang and will be confident of claiming their tenth Premier League victory in their last 12 top-flight games.
However, Spurs cannot be written-off. In the likes of Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen they have good attacking talent. I think the team from north London may just nick a point from this clash. An alternative would be to take a punt on both teams to score, as both teams are dangerous going forward.

Our Big Match Tip

Back both teams to score with William Hills, odds are currently 6/10.
