Liverpool hosts Leicester at Anfield on Boxing Day in the Premier League, as the visitors look to continue their fantastic run of form.
Liverpool suffered a 3-0 defeat at Watford last time out. Nigerian international striker Odion Ighalo scored twice, after on-loan Chelsea full-back Nathan Ake had opened the scoring very early in the game.
The Reds have now lost two out of their last three top-flight games and have failed to collect a win in that trio of games. Jurgen Klopp’s side are now ninth in the Premier League table, but are five points behind fourth spot.
Leicester maintained their incredible form in the Premier League by winning 3-2 at Everton last time out. The Foxes took the lead through a penalty kick from Riyad Mahrez, before Romelu Lukaku equalised for the Toffees.
The Foxes regained the lead in the second half, as Mahrez scored his brace from the penalty spot. It got even better for the Foxes with Shinji Okazaki adding a third. Everton substitute Kevin Mirallas made it a nervous finish for the visitors, but the Foxes held on to an excellent victory.
Foxes winger Mahrez has now scored 13 goals in the Premier League and also produced seven assists this season. Mahrez’s good form has helped Claudio Ranieri’s side win five out of the last six games in the top-flight.

Liverpool v Leicester Match Prediction

The two teams form is contrasting, with Leicester on fire and Liverpool struggling for wins. The Reds are unpredictable and the Foxes are a very dangerous team on the counter-attack. This is a difficult game to judge, but for me Klopp’s side may just grab a draw from this difficult game.
