Tottenham visit Liverpool’s Anfield in Saturday’s late Premier League kick-off, as the north London team look to continue their title challenge.

Liverpool’s inconsistent campaign continued last time out with a 3-2 defeat at Southampton, despite establishing a two-goal lead through strikes from Philippe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge. However, a second half double from winger Sadio Mane and a goal from Graziano Pelle were enough to seal a remarkable fightback.

The draw leaves Jurgen Klopp’s side in ninth position in the Premier League table and hampered the Reds hopes of making a late surge for fourth-spot, as they are now seven points behind Manchester City, although they do have a game in-hand on the Citizens.

Tottenham maintained their challenge for the Premier League title last time out with a 3-0 win over Bournemouth at White Hart Lane. Harry Kane scored twice, before Christian Eriksen fired home a third for the north London club.

The win means that second-place Tottenham are now five points behind Premier League leaders Leicester with just seven league games remaining.

Harry Kane’s double against Bournemouth means he is now the league’s top scorer with 21 goals this season, including five in his last three Premier League appearances.
