Liverpool hosts Norwich City on Sunday afternoon in the Premier League, as the home side look to get back to winning ways.
Liverpool have now failed to win in their last three Premier League games and have lost their last two, with defeats against West Ham and Manchester United.
Last time out in the top-flight Brendan Rodgers team suffered a 3-1 defeat at bitter-rivals United, with Christian Benteke’s superbly taken goal the Reds only consolation from the game.
Last time out at home, the Reds suffered a 3-0 defeat to West Ham, as Brazilian Philippe Coutinho was dismissed. Everybody connected with the club will be hoping for a better performance from their side in this clash.
Norwich secured just their second win of the season last time out, beating fellow top-flight new boys Bournemouth 3-1 at Carrow Road. Goals from Wes Hoolahan, Cameron Jerome and Matt Jarvis were enough to give Alex Neil’s team maximum points.
The win leaves the new boys comfortably in midtable, with five Premier League games played. Their current position means that the players can head to Merseyside with little pressure to collect an unlikely win.

Facts And Figures

Liverpool has had the far better of the Premier League meetings between these two teams, winning ten of the 14 meetings. The Canaries have won twice and two games have been drawn.
Norwich have won at Anfield just once in seven visits, with Liverpool picking-up five wins and the other game finishing in a draw.
Liverpool has won nine out of the last ten Premier League meetings between these two teams.
The Reds have also scored five goals in the last two encounters with the Canaries at Anfield.
The Canaries have scored just once in their last six away games in the Premier League, stretching back to their last spell in the top-flight.
The side from East Anglia have also won just once on their travels in 13 Premier League matches, with that win coming earlier this season in a 3-1 victory at Sunderland.

Team News

Liverpool are still without full-back Jon Flanagan and captain Jordan Henderson for this clash. There are also doubts over the fitness of midfielder Joe Allen. However, the Reds have received a fitness boost with the return to training of England pair Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge.
Lallana is likely to play some part in this game, although Sturridge is not expected to be fit to feature in this encounter. The Reds will also have Brazilian playmaker Philippe Coutinho available again after he served a one-match suspension.
Canaries boss Alex Neil looks unlikely to change his starting line-up much from last time out. However, right-back Andre Wisdom is ineligible to play against his parent club, so is likely to be replaced by Stuart Whittaker.
Midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu will miss out through injury, while forwards Lewis Grabban and Gary Hooper are also both doubts for the clash.

Possible Liverpool line-up: Mignolet, Clyne, Skrtel, Lovren, Gomez, Can, Milner, Firmino, Coutinho, Lallana, Benteke

Possible Norwich line-up: Ruddy, Whittaker, Martin, Bassong, Brady, Redmond, Howson, Tettey, Jarvis, Hoolahan, Jerome

Liverpool vs Norwich Prediction

The Reds are desperately in need of three points and I think they will get them against the Canaries. Alex Neil’s side will head to Anfield with confidence, but with the pressure growing on Reds boss Brendan Rodgers, I think his team will have just enough to win this game.
Back Liverpool to beat Norwich at William Hill, the odds are 8/15
