Manchester United hosts Chelsea at Old Trafford on Monday in the Premier League, with the home side looking to recover from a poor run of form.
Manchester United have now suffered three consecutive defeats in the Premier League. The Red Devils looked lacklustre on Boxing Day, as Louis van Gaal’s team were defeated 2-0 at Stoke’s Britannia Stadium. First half goals from Bojan and Marko Arnautovic were enough to secure a home win.
United are now without a Premier League victory in five games and six games without a win in all competitions. The latest setback has seen the Red Devils drop down to sixth position in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-place Tottenham.
Guus Hiddink kicked-off his second spell in charge of Chelsea with a 2-2 home draw against Watford on Boxing Day. The Blues took the lead through Diego Costa, before Troy Deeney equalised from the penalty spot for the Hornets.
The visitors took the lead through a deflected effort from Odion Ighalo in the second half, only for Diego Costa to score his brace. The draw means that the reigning Premier League champions are 15th in the table, just two points clear of the relegation zone.

Manchester United v Chelsea Match Prediction

Neither of these two teams will be heading into this clash in particularly high spirits, as both teams have been on relatively poor runs of form in the top-flight. This game is hard to predict, but I am going for a low-scoring draw in this clash.
