Manchester United will be looking to keep their challenge for a top-four spot in the Premier League on track as the Red Devils host North West neighbours Everton at Old Trafford.

Manchester United got their challenge for a top four spot back on track with a vital 1-0 win at Manchester City in the Manchester derby last time out. Youngster Marcus Rashford scored the only goal of the game.

The victory has put United within touching distance of fourth-place City, who are now just a point above the Red Devils in a congested area of the Premier League table.

Young Marcus Rashford has now scored five goals in just eight senior appearances for Louis van Gaal’s team.

Everton’s poor Premier League campaign continued last time out, as the Toffees were beaten 2-0 at home by Arsenal. First half strikes from Danny Welbeck and Alex Iwobi saw the Gunners collect maximum points at Goodison Park.

The defeat leaves Everton 12th position in the Premier League with Toffees now asking questions about the future of boss Roberto Martinez.

Match Prediction

The win over Manchester City last time out will really have lifted the spirits amongst those United players, but this game will not be easy.

Everton are a far more dangerous team on their travels than at home, but the Red Devils should prevail with the Toffees having little to play for in the Premier League this season.
