Racing Tips Glorious Goodwood & Galway Festival Tuesday 26th July

by 26th July 2016

Two festivals to get our teeth into today as Glorious Goodwood joins Galway on the list so plenty of decent competitive action all across the day.

Todays Best Racing Tips

We have 1 selection at Beverley, 1 at Yarmouth and 3 MAIN selections at Goodwood, although we will be giving a selection for all Galway and Goodwood races:

15.55 Beverley
Mark Johnston loves having winners at Goodwood but we hope he can strike here too. He seems to finally found the key to FINAL (best odds of 9/4 ) and I am hoping that F will be able to track the likely pace from Jacbequick and pounce up the hill.

14.55 Yarmouth
Well Shake Hands (6/4 at RaceBets) bounced back to form last week under this jockey in an apprentice race. If WSH is in the same mood he will be very difficult to beat.

14.00 Goodwood
As mentioned above Mark Johnston loves to have winners at GG and he is four handed in this opening contest. It always pays to be drawn low at Goodwood and I will chance the stables Stars Over The Sea (back each way with at 10/1) with Franny on top. I am hoping, that like Chester, Franny can get out and rail round to make all.

15.45 Goodwood
Another Johnston runner in here with excellent course form. Notarised (back each way 8/1 with ) has form figures here of 1633 and the sixth was an unlucky run beaten just 2 lengths.

16.55 Goodwood
The well drawn, red hot stable form Harry Angel (28/17 with 10Bet) looks certain to give us an excellent run for our money in this maiden. There is a slight concern that HA has not been seen since May but the Cox stable is in such form that I am prepared to take the short price.

The rest of Glorious Goodwood tips
14.35 – What a cracking set to we are going to have here between old foes (Superlative Stakes) Boynton and War Decree. Although Boynton won here on debut and beat War Decree in the Superlative I fancy WD to turn the form around purely on the draw. Boynton will do exceptionally well to give the weight and the draw bias to War Decree today.

15.10 – Home of the Brave has bounced back to form this season and this front runner can take advantage of the draw.

16.20 – Thesme is a horse I adore, but the draw is a killer here I think and I will side with the top weight Maljaa.

17.30 – The Beckett stable is firing on all cylinders currently and Pure Art can find the necessary improvement on only 4th start to win this ultra competitive affair.
