Racing Tips Newmarket Thursday 7th July 2016

by 6th July 2016

Well July is proving profitable with our racing tips and we look to boost the bank with tips from the July meeting at Newmarket.
Dew Pond kept the wolf from the door today but Dr Red Eye was disappointing and Princess Roania needed a bigger test of stamina back on quicker ground.

The HQ July meeting starts today and we have a selection in each of the races plus 2 from Carlisle and 1 at Doncaster.

Newmarket July Meeting Racing Tips

A tight Group 3 but Shabeeb destroyed his rivals last time out and although this opposition is a different kettle of fish the step up in trip is certain to bring further improvement.

What a Group 2 – worthy of Royal Ascot, where – a few of these last ran. However, Broken Stones for the Ryan yard was backed at York like tomorrow and duly obliged. I do not think they would make the journey down without good reason.

The question with the selection is the dreaded bounce factor! Elite Army ran a stormer at Royal Ascot and provided all is well, must go close.

In this type of event we are ideally looking for a group performer lurking in a handicap. I think Taneen for the Varian yard off top weight is such an animal.

A maiden of which little form there is does not set the highest standard. Check the betting but as things stand the Dettori ridden American raider Oh So Terrible is the selection.

Unlike the first division there is some form here worth following and that horse is Tropical Rock for the Beckett stable.

The Harrington stable in Ireland are having an absolute red hot period and we will chance that Final Frontier has trained on.

Not a great line up in this contest for a class 3 and a chance is taken that Soie D’leau bounces back to form on better ground.

15.00 Carlisle
I like the Beckett stable and they are having an excellent year. Emerald Loch.

17.15 Carlisle
Although this is tougher, Indian Chief has sauntered to victory the last twice and with the excellent Adam McNamara in the saddle – the hat trick beckons.

16.30 Doncaster
I really like this horse at this level, Bajan Rebel. A cracking 3rd last time out from a poor draw shows that there is another win in him.
