Saturdays Free Racing Tips And Best Betting Odds

Saturdays Free Racing Tips And Best Betting Odds

by 13th May 2016

The week has not been great for our racing tips although I do think we have mostly selected the right horses in the markets but with hard pullers and a little bad luck we have had to sit and suffer like a double handful sprinter caught behind the field on the inside at Chester!

Roly Tricks ran another poor race and although I do believe there are wins in her it will be best until she shows some sparkle.

Gunnery was subjected to a Spencer ride and did not get out in time although the winner was impressive.

My Lord ran a decent race for us and was only collared late.

Shakopee was far too keen on return, however, there are races to be won off the mark.

Stormy Clouds ran a very disappointing race and did not continue the recent improvement although we were right to oppose the Johnston favourite.

Flying Officer bolted before the start and was withdrawn.

What a Saturday we have in store for you. We have seven racing tips FREE for you to back. These tips come with the best odds available at time of posting.

Let us hope today gives us a bit of a better run for our money with excellent cards at Newbury and Newmarket with Thirsk providing the afternoon flat support and Bangor and Punchestown over the jumps.

The evening cards come from Doncaster on the flat and Uttoxeter over the sticks.

The days main races and selections below:

Newbury
14.45 Group 3
Although only 5 runners this contest is fascinating. Eagle Top is the clear choice on past form and the associated weights, however, a small field could cause problems for this exuberant type. The obvious alternative is Carnachy for Simcock and Moore and it is not a clear case. Not a race for getting involved in but a definite for watching.

Racing Tip One
15.20 Newbury – 1m 7f 169y class 6 RSM Handicap (4yo plus) (10 runners)

The first of the days selections runs here in the shape of Dhahmaan for Marco Botti and William Buick. After an excellent 2 year old season D made his reappearance at Ascot in the Group 3 won by Gifted Master and ran very satisfactorily and this is slightly easier. D has the penalty to carry and it will not be easy, but I can see a really positive run. As for the dangers Dream Dubai and King of Rooks lead the list.

Racing Tip Two
15.55 Newbury – 1m class 1 Al Shaqab Lockinge Stakes (Group 1) (British Champions Series) (Str) (4yo plus) (13 runners)

There is a double figure priced horse in here that is the days second selection, Endless Drama. ED has not been seen since his second to Gleneagles in the Irish 2000 Guineas where he made G pull out all the stops before going down by 3/4 length and Ger Lyons has started the season in sparkling form. I really think that ED can give Toormore and Kodi Bear a real run for the prize.

Back Endless Drama (each way) in the 15.55 Newbury – Best odds of 11/1 with William Hill

Racing Tip Three
16.30 Newbury – 1m 2f 6y class 2 Al Zubarah London Gold Cup (Open Handicap) (15 runners)

The choice in this race was a last minute entry on to today’s selections (7 in total) due to the highly impressive win by Ulysses yesterday at York. Imperial Aviator ran on really strongly at Leicester to run down U on seasonal debut, so, with fitness improved and the form massively boosted IA is a confident choice.

Recommended Betting Tip

Betfair Bookmaker

Back Imperial Aviator in the 16.30 Newbury – Best odds of 7/2 with Betfair

17.05 Listed
A really great looking race on paper with plenty of winners already amassed by the young field. A token selection for the race is Chastushka for Gosden / Buick.

Racing Tip Four
17.35 Newbury – 1m class 2 Planteur Handicap (Str) (4yo plus) (13 runners)

The last selection for us at Newbury (the 4th) is Arthenus for the Fanshawe team. We put A up at Newmarket on his seasonal debut and he ran very credibly in 6th behind one of his stable mates. With the ground not holding any fears and with the debut run under his belt – today he can get his head in front. We have also been following Sinfonietta this season so he rates a big danger.

Recommended Betting Tip

Coral Bookmakers

Back Arthenus in the 17.35 Newbury – Best odds of 4/1 with Coral

Newmarket

Racing Tip Five
15.00 Newmarket – 1m 6f class 2 Betfair Acca Edge Handicap (4yo plus) (7 runners)

The first of our 2 Newmarket selections runs in this and it is Desert Encounter for Simcock and Spencer. Although up in grade and trip on quicker ground, the improvement is unrelenting and we believe it will continue today.

Recommended Betting Tip

Coral Bookmakers

Back Desert Encounter in the 15.00 Newmarket – Best odds of 13/8 with Coral

15.35 Listed
The feature on the Newmarket card has a disappointing turn out and it is best left to Thikriyaat to keep his unbeaten record.

Racing Tip Six
16.10 Newmarket – 6f class 2 Betfair Price Rush Sprint Trophy (Handicap) (12 runners)

What a belting sprint handicap with undoubted better class horses lurking, chief of which could be Venturous and Nisser. However, for today we go for our second Newmarket selection in the top weight Mr Lupton who is overpriced at 14/1.

Recommended Betting Tip

William Hill Bookmaker

Back Mr Lupton (each way) in the 16.10 Newmarket – Best odds of 14/1 with William Hill

Bangor
Racing Tip Seven

16.15 Bangor – 2m 145y class 4 Wrexham Lager Handicap Hurdle (4yo plus) (10 runners)

The days final selection is Mighty Missile for the Greatrex yard who are in form and MM will like the drying ground. Cornborough is the alternative.
