Swansea hosts Everton at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League, with both teams looking to build on promising starts to their campaigns.
Swansea have made a positive start to their Premier League campaign, picking-up eight points from their first five Premier League games, including a 2-2 draw at reigning Chelsea and a 2-1 victory over Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium.
Despite their promising start to the campaign, the Swans suffered a 1-0 defeat at ten man Watford last time out. The Hornets had Swiss midfielder Valon Behrami sent-off, but Garry Monk’s side could not make their numerical advantage count.
The Swans two main attacking threats Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew drew a blank at Watford, but have four and three top-flight goals respectably to their name this season in the Premier League.
Everton have also picked-up eight points this season and sit sixth in the Premier League table. The Toffees were handed a difficult start to the season facing four of the top seven teams from last season in the first five games this season.
Roberto Martinez’s team have looked impressive this season so far and last time out claimed a 3-1 victory over champions Chelsea, with substitute Steven Naismith scoring a hat-trick.
England international midfielder Ross Barkley has been in fine form this season producing three assists and two goals for the Toffees, including two assists last time out against Chelsea.

Facts And Figures

Everton have dominated this fixture in the Premier League, winning five of the eight Premier League encounters, with the other three games finishing in draws.
The Toffees have also dominated the fixtures in Wales, having won three and drew one of their visits to the Liberty Stadium.
Swansea’s only ever victory against Everton in any competition came in last year’s Capital One Cup, when the Welsh side defeated Roberto Martinez’s side 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium.
The Swans have scored at least two goals in their last four games at the Liberty Stadium.

Team News

Swansea boss Garry Monk has the luxury of having a fully-fit squad heading into this clash. The Swans boss may decide to start with Jefferson Montero on the left-wing in place of Wayne Routledge.
Everton have a number of injury concerns heading into this clash. Leighton Baines, Darron Gibson, Tony Hibbert, Tom Cleverley and Steven Pienaar have all been ruled out through injury. Mohamed Besic, Seamus Coleman and Bryan Oviedo are also doubts.
Steven Naismith is likely to replace Besic in the starting line-up, while Argentinian Ramiro Funes Mori may come into the team if Coleman is not passed fit to feature.

Possible Swansea line-up: Fabianski, Naughton, Williams, Fernandez, Taylor, Shelvey, Cork, Ayew, Sigurdsson, Montero, Gomis

Possible Everton line-up: Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jagielka, Galloway, Barry, McCarthy, Kone, Barkley, Naismith, Lukaku

Swansea vs Everton Prediction

Everton have looked very dangerous in attack this season and are perfectly set-up to hit teams on the counter-attack. Swansea will be looking to recover from that first league defeat of the season. This should be an entertaining clash and for me could be a score draw. Here at BOUK we are backing Swansea and Everton to draw at odds of 23/10.

Our Big Match Tip

With the draw already being backed and a few goals expecting to fly in, our Big Match Tip for this clash between Swansea and Everton is the 2-2 draw at nice odds of 16/1
