Last time out in the Premier League, Tottenham hammered London rivals West Ham 4-1 at White Hart Lane through a Harry Kane brace and further goals from defender Toby Alderweireld and Kyle Walker. The Hammers scored a late consolation goal through Argentinian attacking midfielder Manuel Lanzini.
The victory over Slaven Bilic’s team means that Spurs are now fifth in the league table and just four points behind surprise league leaders Leicester City. A win could see Mauricio Pochettino’s team move up to third in the Premier League table, if other results go their way of course.
Chelsea ended a three-game losing run in the Premier League with a 1-0 victory over Norwich last time out, as Spanish international Diego Costa grabbed the only goal of the game.
The victory only moved the Blues up one place in the Premier League table and they trail league leaders Leicester by an incredible 14 points. Boss Jose Mourinho has recently revealed that he still thinks a top-four finish is possible, but that winning the Premier League title is not.

Tottenham v Chelsea Match Prediction

This game has entertainment and goals written all over it. Last season’s meeting of these two sides at the Lane produced a 5-3 win for Spurs. Although this may not be such a high scoring game, it should still be entertaining all the same. Spurs have their tails up and are the more likely winners of this clash.
