Tottenham host Newcastle at White Hart Lane on Sunday in the Premier League, with the home side looking to return to winning ways.
Tottenham drew 1-1 with West Brom last time out in the Premier League, with Dele Alli opening the scoring before Baggies winger James McClean equalised for the Baggies. The draw meant that Spurs have now drawn consecutive matches in the Premier League.
However the side from north London remain fifth and well in touch with the top four positions, as they are currently three points behind third-place Manchester United in the Premier League table.
Newcastle stopped the rot last time out in the top-flight with a 2-0 victory over in-form Liverpool at St James Park. The north east side took the lead through a stroke of luck, as Reds defender Martin Skrtel put past his own ‘keeper.
The win was sealed in stoppage-time by Dutch international Georginio Wijnaldum. It was the former-PSV midfielder’s seventh Premier League goal since his summer arrival from his homeland.
The Magpies remain in the relegation zone, but only because they have inferior goal difference to 17th place Bournemouth.

Tottenham v Newcastle Match Prediction

Despite Newcastle winning last time out their away record is atrocious and this will be a difficult one for the men from the north east. I can see Tottenham winning this game, but it could be a relatively even game, because the win last time will have lifted Newcastle spirits.
