Tottenham hosts Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane in the early kick-off on Sunday in the Premier League, with the home side seeking just their second Premier League win of the season.
Tottenham ended a run of three straight draws by winning 1-0 at struggling Sunderland last time out, as midfielder Ryan Mason scored a late winner for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.
The north London side have drawn both their home league games so far this season against Stoke and Everton. Spurs have scored just four goals in their five Premier League games this season and they currently sit 12th in the Premier League table.
However, Tottenham will hope to build on the two clean sheets kept in the last two games, with Belgian duo Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld now looking like a more solid partnership.
Palace suffered a last-gasp 1-0 home defeat against league leaders Manchester City last time out, with City’s young substitute Kelechi Iheanacho grabbing the winning goal in injury-time. It was a cruel blow for Alan Pardew’s side.
Despite that defeat the Eagles have experienced a positive start to their league campaign, picking-up nine points this season. Pardew’s side currently sit sixth in the Premier League table.

Facts And Figures

The Premier League head-to-head record is surprisingly close in this fixture. Spurs have claimed four wins, Palace have won three times and five games have been drawn.
At White Hart Lane both teams have won one game each and the other four games have resulted in draws.
The Eagles have won five out of their last six games on their travels and have also scored at least two goals in five of their last six away games.
There have been under 2.5 goals in six of Spurs last seven Premier League games.

Team News

The home side continue to be without Algerian international midfielder Nabil Bentaleb, while Ryan Mason, Christian Eriksen, Clinton N’Jie and Mousa Dembele all remain doubts for the clash. Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino may name an unchanged team from last time out, although youngster Tom Carroll may fill-in for Mason if he fails to recover from injury.
Palace are without full-back Joel Ward and striker Frazier Campbell through injury, while Damien Delaney, Marouane Chamakh, Connor Wickham, Joe Ledley and Jason Puncheon are all doubts for the clash.
Palace boss Pardew may also decide to field an unchanged team from last time out if Jason Puncheon recovers from injury. If not then Mile Jedinak could come into the team, with Yohan Cabaye pushed into a more advanced role.

Possible Tottenham line-up: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies, Dier, Mason, Son, Alli, Chadli, Kane

Possible Crystal Palace line-up: McCarthy, Kelly, Dann, Hangeland, Souare, McArthur, Cabaye, Sako, Puncheon, Zaha, Bolasie

Tottenham vs Crystal Palace Prediction

The visitors have been superb at times this season and could cause Spurs big problems in this clash. Tottenham have struggled in front of goal this season and I think the Eagles may just come away from White Hart Lane with a draw.
Crystal Palace to draw at Tottenham odds available are 5/2 with William Hill.

Our Big Match Tip

Even though Spurs have been involved in some low scoring matches recently we see this game bucking the trend. So we are plumping for the 2-2 correct score between the two London sides.
Back Tottenham and Crystal Palace to draw 2-2, you can get a whopping 16/1 with William Hills.
