Tottenham and Manchester City go head-to-head at White Hart Lane in the Premier League early kick-off on Saturday.
Tottenham have won their last two Premier League games and last time out defeated Crystal Palace 1-0 at White Hart Lane. The game against Crystal Palace saw Spurs keep their third consecutive clean sheet.
South Korean international forward Heung-Min Son scored the winner against the Eagles. It was the former-Bayer Leverkusen stars third goal in only three appearances for the club.
Manchester City’s perfect start to the campaign finished last Saturday, after a surprise 2-1 home defeat against West Ham.
The Citizens saw more of the ball and had more chances, but the Hammers hung on for a victory. New signing Kevin De Bruyne scored his first goal for the club in the loss. The game also saw City’s run of six consecutive Premier League clean sheets brought to an end.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side are now just two points clear of rivals Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table.

Facts And Figures

Tottenham have enjoyed the better of the Premier League fixtures between these two teams, having won 20 of the 36 games played. City has recorded 11 wins and five games have finished in draws.
Tottenham also have a better record in fixtures at White Hart Lane. Spurs have won 11 of the 18 Premier League games played at the Lane, with City winning just four times and there has been three draws.
Despite that good record against City in the Premier League, Spurs have won just one of the last ten encounters between the two teams and lost eight in all competitions.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini has faced Spurs four times and won on all four occasions. The Chilean has also won nine of the 11 games he has faced Mauricio Pochettino, and is unbeaten against the Argentine having drawn the other two games.
The Citizens have scored 20 goals in their last four Premier League games against Tottenham.

Team News

Tottenham have slight doubts over the fitness of midfield pair Mousa Dembele and Ryan Mason, while Algerian international Nabil Bentaleb has been ruled out with an ankle injury.
Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen made his return from injury from the bench in the Palace win and may return to starting line-up in place of Argentinian international Erik Lamela for this clash.
The visitors have a few injury problems, as Gael Clichy and Fabian Delph have both been ruled through injury, while Vincent Kompany, Pablo Zabaleta, Eliaquim Mangala and Samir Nasri are all doubts for the clash. However, David Silva is expected to return after he missed the West Ham game.

Tottenham vs Manchester City Match Prediction

The visitor’s perfect start to the campaign may have come to an end, but the Citizens have enough quality to trouble Spurs and I think they will claim a victory in north London.
Spurs have looked pretty solid at the back in recent games, but in the likes of Sergio Aguero, the aforementioned De Bruyne and David Silva will test that new-found solidarity to the full in this clash.

Our Big Match Tip

For a bit of value here at BOUK we will be backing Manchester City to hit Spurs for three.
