UEFA Champions League Betting Preview Match Day 6 (part two)

The Champions League group stages has reached game week six, which will see teams progress to the knockout stages or be eliminated from the competition. Here are the games taking place on Wednesday night in the crucial clashes:
This is part two of Champions League betting previews with recommended betting tips and who will make it through.

Bayer Leverkusen v Barcelona
Bayer Leverkusen can still qualify for the knockout stages, as they are equal on points with second place Roma, but the Italian side are ahead on the head-to-head record. A draw for Bayer would be enough if Roma lose in the other game. Last time out Bayer suffered a 3-2 defeat against Roma.
Barcelona have won the group already and have won 14 out of their last 16 Champions League games. The European champions have also scored two or more goals in nine out of their last ten European games. Luis Enrique’s side hammered Roma 6-1 last time out in this competition.

Match Odds:
Bayer Leverkusen 5/2
Draw 23/10
Barcelona Evs

Recommended Betting Tip:
Barcelona to cruise through this game and beat Bayer Leverkusen (Evs Corals)

Roma v BATE Borisov
Roma will qualify for the last 16 with a win, or could qualify with a draw if Bayer fails to defeat Barcelona in the other game. Roma will drop down into third spot if Bayer wins and they fail to pick-up maximum points.
However, the Giallorossi have won just one of their last ten games in the Champions League. The Italian team have also conceded two or more in their last four games in this competition.
BATE could still make the last 16 if they win in Rome and Bayer fails to win against Barcelona. The same applies to making third spot, only a win will do to take them through to the Europa League. Last time out the Belarussian side drew 1-1 with Bayer Leverkusen.

Match Odds:
Roma 2/9
Draw 24/5
BATE Borisov 12/1

Recommended Betting Tip:
Roma to win to Nil and qualify for knockout stages (Evs Corals)

Dinamo Zagreb v Bayern Munich
The home team are bottom of the group having suffered four consecutive defeats in the group stages. Due to their poor head-to-head record they are unable to qualify for the Europa League spot. Last time out the Croatian champions suffered a 3-0 defeat at Arsenal.
Bayern Munich has already seal top spot in this group, having won four out of their five games. The Bavarian giants have scored at least three goals in five of their last six Champions League games. The only exception was their last away game in this completion, which was a 2-0 defeat at Arsenal. Last time out Pep Guardiola’s side claimed a comfortable 4-0 win over Olympiakos.

Match Odds:
Dinamo Zagreb 10/1
Draw 19/4
Bayern Munich 1/4

Recommended Betting Tip:
Back Bayern Munich/Bayern Munich in the half time/full time market(4/5 Corals)

Olympiakos v Arsenal
Olympiakos kick-off this game in second spot in the group and know that a draw or a win would see them through to the knockout stages of the competition. The Greek side will be looking to bounce back from that heavy defeat against Bayern with a positive result in this one.
The omens are good for the home side, as they have beaten Arsenal on home soil in the last three meetings.
Arsenal travels to Greece knowing that they will need a two-goal win to make it through to the knockout stages. A 3-2 win would be enough to take them through courtesy of superior goal difference, but the Greek side have the advantage in the head-to-head, having won 3-2 in the reverse fixture.

Match Odds:
Olympiakos 23/10
Draw 12/5
Arsenal Evs

Recommended Betting Tip:
An Arsenal win for us but will it be enough to make it out of the group (Evs Corals)

Dinamo Kiev v Maccabi Tel Aviv
Dinamo Kiev’s situation is complicated in Group G, as much depends on what happens in the Chelsea v FC Porto. The Ukrainian side will go through with a win, but if the other game finishes in a draw then they can also win the group. Last time out Dinamo claimed a crucial 2-0 win at Porto.
Maccabi Tel Aviv are out of Europe, having lost all five of their group games. To make matters worse they also conceded two or more goals in all five of their games in the competition. Last time out they suffered a 4-0 drubbing at the hands of English champions Chelsea.

Match Odds:
Dinamo Kiev 2/13
Draw 6/1
Maccabi Tel Aviv 18/1

Recommended Betting Tip:
Dinamo Kiev to win 3-0 (11/2 Corals)

Chelsea v FC Porto
This game is a pivotal one in Group G, as the top two go head-to-head.
Chelsea will seal top spot with a victory at Stamford Bridge, but would also finish second if the game finished in a draw and Dinamo Kiev defeat Maccabi. Despite their poor campaign so far, Chelsea have suffered just one defeat in their last 13 Champions League matches. The results in game week five have put Jose Mourinho’s team in a good position in the group.
Porto needs to win to confirm their spot in the last 16 of the competition, which would also confirm top spot. However, a draw would be good enough in the unlikely event that Maccabi Tel Aviv avoids defeat against Dinamo.
The Portuguese side suffered a 2-0 home defeat against Dinamo last time out, which could now come back to haunt them

Match Odds:
Chelsea 19/20
Draw 23/10
FC Porto 27/10

Recommended Betting Tip:
Chelsea and Porto to draw (23/10 Corals)

Valencia v Lyon
Valencia has to win this clash and hope that Gent slip-up against group leaders Zenit, as Gent has a better record in the head-to-head clashes. Los Ches have a new boss in charge in the shape of Gary Neville, who will have to halt a slump that has saw consecutive Champions League defeats. Last time out in this competition the Spaniards suffered a 2-0 defeat at Zenit.
The visitors have been poor in the Champions League this season and have suffered four straight defeats in the group stages. In fact the French side have lost six out of their last seven games in the competitions.
To make matters worse the French Ligue One side have conceded two or more goals in their last three European games. Last time out in the competition they suffered a 2-1 home defeat against Gent.

Match Odds:
Valencia 2/5
Draw 11/5
Lyon 6/1

Recommended Betting Tip:
Back that there will be over 2.5 goals in this match it looks nailed on (8/11 Corals)

Gent v Zenit St. Petersburg
Gent will progress to the knockout stages with a win or if Valencia fails to beat Lyon at the Mestalla in the other game. The Belgian side have claimed consecutive victories to put themselves into second spot and last time out won 2-1 at Lyon.
Zenit are the only team in the group stages of this competition with a 100 per cent record. If the Russian side wins and Valencia fail to win, then they will qualify with a joint-record point’s margin of 11 points.
Andre Villas Boas’ team has scored two or more goals in all five of their group games in this competition this season. Last time out in this competition they claimed a 2-0 win over Valencia.

Match Odds:
Gent 11/8
Draw 11/5
Zenit St. Petersburg 9/5

Betting Tip:
The 9/5 (Corals) on offer is too good to pass up on a must for serious backers.
