Watford hosts Liverpool at Vicarage Road in Sunday’s early Premier League kick-off, as the home side look to continue their current good run of form.
Watford has hit a good run of form in recent weeks, having now claimed three consecutive Premier League wins. In their last Premier League outing the Hornets claimed a 1-0 victory at Sunderland, with in-form striker Odion Ighalo grabbing the only goal of the game very early in the game.
The Nigerian international has now scored in three consecutive top-flight games and has ten Premier League goals and five assists for the season.
Liverpool drew 2-2 with West Brom at Anfield in their last Premier League encounter. Midfielder Jordan Henderson opened the scoring for the Reds, only for Baggies right-back Craig Dawson to level the scores.
Tony Pulis’ side took the lead on 72 minutes through centre-back Jonas Olsson. It looked like the visitors were heading for maximum points, until Belgian substitute Divock Origi struck deep into stoppage-time.
The result leaves Liverpool ninth in the Premier League table, but the Reds are just two points behind fifth place Spurs in the league.

Watford v Liverpool Match Prediction

This clash is a hard one to judge, as the home side are in good form, but Liverpool are very unpredictable and better away from home than at Anfield. I can see Watford’s momentum and Liverpool’s defensive problems being enough for the Hornets to extend that winning run in the top-flight.
