Watford hosts Manchester United at Vicarage Road on Saturday in the Premier League early kick-off looking to bounce back from defeat last time out.
The home side suffered a 2-1 defeat last time out at high-flying Leicester. Troy Deeney’s 75 minute penalty was not enough to give the Hornets anything from their visit to the Midlands.
Despite the defeat Quique Sanchez Flores side are still comfortably in midtable in the Premier League table in 11th position. However, the Hornets have won just two of their home games in the Premier League this season and will be looking to improve that record against a resolute United team.
The Hornets will once again look to top scorer Odion Ighalo to find the net, as he has scored seven league games this season. Ighalo’s strike-partner Troy Deeney has also scored twice in his last three league appearances.
Manchester United are currently fourth from top in the Premier League, just two points behind league leaders Manchester City. The Red Devils defeated West Brom 2-0 at Old Trafford last time out, with midfielders Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata scoring the goals.
United have been criticised for being boring in the last few months, a claim that Louis van Gaal has vehemently rejected. The Red Devils have certainly been strong in defence though and Watford could find United hard to break down.

Watford v Manchester United Match Prediction

The Hornets are no pushovers, but Manchester United are in good form. They have become a very solid defensive unit. This game could be a very tight one with both teams involved in very low scoring games in recent weeks. Manchester United should have enough quality to come out on top in this clash. Manchester United to beat Watford odds are 5/6.
