Watford hosts Tottenham at Vicarage Road on Monday in the Premier League, as two in-form teams clash.
Watford claimed a 2-2 draw at reigning Premier League champions Chelsea on Boxing Day. Chelsea took the lead through a strike from Diego Costa, only for in-form Troy Deeney to equalise with a penalty kick.
The Hornets regained the lead in the second half with Odion Ighalo finding the net yet again. However Costa scored his second goal of the game, before Oscar missed a penalty kick and the Hornets went home with a point.
Ighalo has now scored in his last five top-flight appearances and Deeney has scored five goals in his last seven league appearances.
Tottenham strengthened their position in the top four of the Premier League with a 3-0 Boxing Day win over Norwich. England striker Harry Kane scored a brace for Spurs and midfielder Tom Carroll added a third to secure maximum points for the north London team.
Kane has now scored 11 times in the Premier League, including three in his last two top-flight appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s team.

Team Selection & News

Watford has a relatively clean bill of health going into this game. However, defenders Tommy Hoban and Joel Ekstrand are likely to miss out once again. Nathan Ake is set to return at full-back in place of Jose Holebas. Ake’s return is likely to be the only change to Quique Sanchez Flores’ starting line-up from the draw at Chelsea.
Tottenham also have a near fully-fit squad. Midfielder Alex Pritchard and forward Clinton N’Jie are both likely to miss out though. Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino could name an unchanged starting line-up for this clash.

Possible Watford team line-up: Gomes, Nyom, Cathcart, Britos, Ake, Jurado, Watson, Capoue, Abdi, Ighalo, Deeney

Possible Tottenham team line-up: Lloris, Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Dier, Dembele, Eriksen, Alli, Lamela, Kane
