Watford host Crystal Palace at Vicarage Road on Sunday in the Premier League looking to extend their winning run in the Premier League to three games.
Watford has claimed consecutive wins in the top-flight, which has moved the Hornets into midtable. Last time out the Hornets won 2-1 at Newcastle with Nigerian international striker Odion Ighalo scoring a first half brace.
The former-Granada striker has now scored four goals in his six Premier League appearances this season. He will be confident of adding to that tally against a Palace team that has failed to keep a clean sheet in the top-flight this season.
Quique Flores’ side have made a very solid start to life in the Premier League, having suffered just one defeat, which came at big spending Manchester City. The Hornets are also unbeaten at Vicarage Road since promotion. A win against Palace could move Watford above the Eagles and into the top six of the table.
The Eagles have suffered consecutive defeats in the Premier League after a promising start to the league campaign. Last time out in the Premier League Palace suffered a 1-0 defeat at Spurs, with Heung-Min Son scoring the only goal of the game.
Alan Pardew’s side have failed to score in their last two Premier League games, after starting the campaign scoring at least three goals in their first four games of the league season.

Facts And Figures

These two teams have never met in the Premier League, but have met 25 times before in other competitions. Crystal Palace has collected 11 wins, Watford has won nine games and five games have been drawn.
At Vicarage Road, the record has been relatively equal, with Palace claiming five wins, Watford winning four and four games finishing in draws.
Palace boss Alan Pardew has lost just once against the Hornets in 11 encounters, as boss of various clubs.
The last time these two teams met was in the 2013 play-off final, when Palace defeated Watford 1-0 to earn a place in the Premier League.

Team News

The Hornets are without injured defender Joel Ekstrand, while new signing Mamadou Obbi Oulare is still struggling for full match fitness. Swiss international midfielder Valon Behrami will miss the clash through suspension. Quique Sanchez Flores may decide to pick an unchanged team from last time out against Newcastle.
The Eagles have a number of fitness doubts over the likes of Scott Dann, Marouane Chamakh, Connor Wickham and Joel Ward. Martin Kelly is expected to continue to fill in at right-back if Ward fails to recover in time to feature.
