Watford hosts Swansea at Vicarage Road on Saturday, as the hosts look to record their first win back in the Premier League.
Watford have failed to win any of their first four Premier League games this season, after being promoted to the Premier League last season. However, the Hornets have collected three draws and suffered just one defeat.
Their only defeat of the season was last time out at Premier League leaders Manchester City, as goals from Raheem Sterling and Fernandinho handed the Citizens a 2-0 victory at the Etihad Stadium.
Watford were one of the most active teams in the transfer market in the summer and boss Quique Flores was also busy on deadline day, with Belgian striker Mamadou Obbi Oulare and Colombian winger Victor Ibarbo both joining on deadline day.
Oulare arrived from Club Brugge for a reported fee of around £6million, while Ibarbo joined a season-long loan deal from Cagliari.
Swansea have made a strong start to their campaign and currently sit third in the Premier League table, after starting the season with two wins and two draws.
Last time out Monk’s side defeated Manchester United 2-1 at the Liberty Stadium, with Bafetimbi Gomis and Andre Ayew both getting on the scoresheet.
French international Gomis has now scored in every Premier League game this season, while Ayew has also scored in three games. If Watford are going to stop Swansea scoring keeping the dynamic duo quiet could be the key.
Swansea were not active on transfer deadline day, but did allow long-serving wing Nathan Dyer join Premier League rivals Leicester on a season-long loan deal.

Facts And Figures

These two teams have never met in the Premier League, but have some history of facing each other in other competitions.
In nine meetings in all competitions, Watford have collected four wins, Swansea have won three games and two games have resulted in draws.
In four meetings at Vicarage Road, both teams have claimed two victories each. The last time these two teams meet was at Vicarage Road was in the Championship in 2010, when Swansea claimed a 3-2 win.
Watford have failed to score in their last three Premier Leagues and there has also been under 2.5 goals in those three games.

Team News

Deadline day signings Ibarbo and Oulare may have to be happy with a place on the bench, although Ibarbo may start in place of Almen Abdi on the left-wing. Boss Quique Sanchez Flores has a full-fit squad to choose from.
Swansea boss Garry Monk should also have a full-fit squad to choose from. Winger Montero is a slight doubt, but is expected to shake off a minor thigh injury to start the game.

Possible Watford line-up: Gomes, Nyom, Prodl, Cathcart, Holebas, Capoue, Behrami, Jurado, Ighalo, Ibarbo, Deeney

Possible Swansea line-up: Fabianski, Naughton, Williams, Fernandez, Taylor, Shelvey, Cork, Montero, Sigurdsson, Ayew
