West Brom hosts Arsenal at the Hawthorns on Saturday in the Premier League, with both sides looking for a return to winning ways after disappointing results last time out.
West Brom currently sit 13th in the Premier League table, after losing 2-0 at Manchester United last time out. A sending off for centre-back Gareth McAuley also added to the Baggies woes.
The Baggies have now suffered consecutive defeats, although the other defeat did come against in-form Leicester City. Tony Pulis’ side’s problem is scoring goals, as they are the joint lowest scorers in the league alongside rock-bottom Aston Villa and Stoke.
Arsenal has endured no problems scoring in recent months, especially away from home. Only Manchester City and Leicester have scored more goals than the Gunners in the top-flight this season.
Last time out the Gunners produced a rather tired display in a 1-1 draw with arch-rivals Tottenham in the north London derby. Harry Kane opened the scoring for Spurs in the first half, before the Gunners equalised through the unlikely source of make-shift left winger Kieran Gibbs in the last quarter hour of the game.
The draw left the Gunners level with league leaders Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table, with the Citizens edging it on goal difference.

Veteran Swedish international Jonas Olsson is his most likely replacement at the heart of the Baggies defence.

West Brom v Arsenal Match Prediction

West Brom has struggled for goals this season, but has been relatively solid at the back. That resolute defence could struggle against a prolific Gunners team though. Our prediction is an Arsenal win, but it is unlikely to be easy for Arsene Wenger’s side. Back Arsenal to beat West Brom at odds of 1/2.
