West Brom hosts Bournemouth at the Hawthorns on Saturday in the Premier League, with the visitors looking to move away from the relegation zone.
The home side drew 2-2 at Liverpool last time out. The team from Merseyside took the lead through Jordan Henderson, before Craig Dawson equalised for the Baggies. A goal in the last 20 minutes by Dawson’s fellow defender Jonas Olsson appeared to have won the visitors all three points.
However, deep into stoppage-time Liverpool substitute Divock Origi popped-up to rescue a point for the Reds. The Baggies have now drawn their last three Premier League games, but will be disappointed to have let a late lead slip at Anfield last time out.
The side from the Midlands are currently 13th in the Premier League table, six points behind fifth-place, but just six points above the relegation zone.
Bournemouth’s form has picked-up in recent weeks, as the Cherries have recorded consecutive 2-1 victories over Chelsea and Manchester United. Last time out Eddie Howe’s team claimed a victory over Manchester United.
Junior Stanislas opened the scoring very early on for the Cherries, before Marouane Fellaini equalised. However the side from Dorset recorded the win courtesy of a second half strike from former-United trainee Joshua King.
Stanislas has now scored three goals in his last three Premier League appearances. It seems the confidence is returning to the Bournemouth players after taking seven points from the last nine in the Premier League.
