West Ham host Crystal Palace at the Boleyn Ground on Saturday in a Premier League London derby, with the home side looking to continue their challenge for a top-four finish.

West Ham are right in the hunt for a place in the Premier League’s top-four spot this season. Last time out the Hammers came within a few minutes of beating Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but had to be content with a 2-2 draw in the end at the home of the reigning champions.

The Hammers took the lead through Manuel Lanzini, only for Cesc Fabregas to equalise in first half stoppage-time. Andy Carroll gave the Hammers the lead once again, but Fabregas struck the equaliser on 89 minutes to deny Slaven Bilic’s side the win.

Bilic’s side find themselves in fifth position in the Premier League table, just a point behind fourth-place Manchester city.

Crystal Palace’s form in the Premier League has been awful this year and that run of poor form continued last time out, as league leaders Leicester City came away from Selhurst Park with a 1-0 win.

The only goal of the game from Algerian playmaker Riyad Mahrez and consigned the Eagles to yet another defeat. Alan Pardew’s side have dropped down to 16th position in the table, but are still seven points clear of the relegation zone.
